Unless you request a specific therapist, we will respectfully consider your concerns, budget, and time availability when assisting you with your first appointment and matching you with a therapist. Payment is due at the time of each session.
Cancellation Policy
If you do not show up for your appointment and have not notified us at least 24 hours in advance, you will be required to pay the full cost of the session.
Insurance
We do not accept insurance but we will assist and guide you on how to file a claim with your insurance provider for reimbursement. Upon receiving payment from you, we are happy to provide you with a “paid in full” receipt which you may file with your insurance company. Your insurance company will reimburse you directly after all deductibles and requirements have been met based on your specific behavioral health benefits. To find out if your insurance company reimburses for out of network benefits contact them using the 1-800 number listed on your card. Let them know you are inquiring about outpatient mental health benefits. Often, health insurance companies have a separate company for mental health benefits.
A Note about Insurance
You should know that filing any kind of claim with your insurance company requires a diagnosis of a mental health disorder. You may not want this on your record as this diagnosis can be used against you when applying for some jobs, for life and disability insurance, and possibly in legal matters.
