Brent Wolfskill, MA, LPC-S, SAP, LCDC, ADC (Owner)
Brent founded Transitions Counseling in 2006 with the understanding that it is difficult for many clients to come into therapy and find a therapist who can relate to their individual needs. He wanted to create a place where all people could come and feel comfortable and supported. Brent believes that people are resilient and have inner strengths that need assistance being supported and tapped into, and that no challenge is too big to be overcome if the client is willing to work at it.
Brent has been counseling full-time since 1996. He has extensive experience counseling families, couples, marital, teens, children, parenting, abuse / survivorship, grief / loss, anger, foster care, educational / academic issues, drug addiction, stress, anxieties, depression, spiritual struggles, health challenges and criminal justice. Brent uses mind-body-spirit whole person, client- centered, insight-oriented, solution-focused strategies to assist his clients at reaching their desired goals. As a Christian, Brent brings a caring non-judgmental approach rooted in spiritual truth to the therapeutic experience.
As a Qualified Substance Abuse Professional, Brent is licensed to complete evaluations for the Federal Department of Transportation for employees working in safety sensitive positions.
