Toni Kincaid, MA, LPC
Compassion, empathy, genuineness, dedication, non-judgment are some of the attributes Toni offers as a Licensed Professional Counselor. Helping others is her passion. Toni vows not to discriminate against a person’s beliefs, culture, race, character or situation. As a Christian she knows without a doubt, Counseling (to all) is the plan God has for her. As a valued member of The Transitions Counseling Team, she believes that people are resilient, and have inner strengths that need assistance being tapped into. Toni supports, educates, enlightens, challenges and loves her clients through their various challenges. The strategies used by Toni are cognitive behavioral, solution-focused & client-centered to help clients reach their goals.
For over 20 years, Toni has worked with clients who have experienced or are experiencing: trauma; PTSD; sexual abuse; domestic violence; divorce-separation; depression; loss (grief); family dynamic issues; anxiety; men & women issues; low self esteem; problems communicating; CPS (men & women); emotional support to clients with HIV/AIDS.
In Toni you will find a genuine, trustworthy person who will do her best to help you reach the goals you set for yourself in therapy. For as long as she can remember she has had concern & compassion for others. To God Be the Glory!
A native of Bronx, New York, Toni is also an Air Force Veteran. She has lived in Texas since 1986. She has an adult son, daughter-in-law and three grandchildren.
Toni’s educational background includes a Bachelor of Science in Organizational Management from Paul Quinn College in Dallas, Texas. She received her Masters of Arts in Professional Counseling at Amberton University in Dallas.
